About The Position
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in the Emergency Room, leveraging expertise in trauma level IV, STEMI receiving, and stroke designations. The role involves direct patient care in a setting with 4 beds and 2 trauma bays, with a key focus on critical intervention and patient stabilization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years ER experience and previous Medsurg experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays if needed
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in the ER
- Collaborate with the ED physician and manage patient flow
- Read and interpret telemetry strips
- Float to Med/surg and Swing bed as needed
