About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role will require the nurse to float among various facilities located within a specified region.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
- Strong knowledge of standard emergency medications and treatments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to interpret telemetry and read EKG strips.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to patients in the emergency department setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and document appropriate information in the electronic medical record.
- Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in triage and other essential clinical functions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide support to other staff as needed.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
