About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the EP Lab is responsible for patient care and managing equipment during procedures in a cardiac setting. The role involves working 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, primarily involving procedures such as ablations, device insertion, and monitoring cardiological devices such as loop recorders.

Requirements

• Current RN certification for nursing positions
• Active ACLS/BLS certification
• Experience in EP lab settings

Nice To Haves

• RCES or RCIS certification
• RT (R) certification

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during EP procedures with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Utilize and manage equipment including X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab, and Arrythmia devices
• Work collaboratively with a team of 17 staff to deliver efficient and detailed care
• Perform typical procedures including ablations, device insertions, and use of Watchman devices
