As an RN in Endoscopy, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey for patients undergoing minimally invasive gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures. In this role, you will manage the full patient care cycle, including preparing patients, administering sedation, assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-procedure care and education. You will care for a high volume of general GI cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, and procedures involving the pancreas, bile ducts, and liver ducts or biopsies. You will also support general pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and robotic-assisted procedures to access the lungs. Throughout the patient experience, you will work closely with patients and their families, providing compassionate care, support, and education to help ensure safe and positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification or ALS through American Red Cross must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
  • One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Critical care or ICU experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care.

  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
