About The Position

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is responsible for pre-procedure assessments, care of sedated patients, and intra-op and post-procedure care. This role also includes specimen collection and labeling. The position is PRN (as needed) and includes rotating on-call duties. Applicants must fill out the application entirely to be considered for the interview process.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider.
• Obtain and maintain ACLS within 6 months of employment.
• One year of acute care experience required.
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check, lab work, and immunization records.
• Ability to talk to patients and/or staff.
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually.
