About The Position

An opportunity to join Trinity Health Livonia as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Trinity Health Livonia is a full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, offering comprehensive care including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, intensive care, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics, and birthing/women's health services. The hospital has received numerous awards for clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency. The 53-bed Emergency Department is a fast-paced, dynamic Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages, delivering advanced, life-saving interventions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ER team is committed to excellence in patient care, rapid decision-making, and compassionate service. The Registered Nurse is accountable for managing patient care during a designated timeframe, which includes coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other healthcare team members using therapeutic self, the nursing process, and the environment.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Nursing required
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required
• BLS required
• Must be computer proficient
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years if an Associate's degree is held

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities
