About The Position

ER Nurses face urgent, life-or-death situations daily, necessitating the ability to function calmly under pressure. Effective communication is vital for interacting with scared, pained, or shocked patients and their families, requiring patience and clarity to keep everyone calm and informed. The role requires standing for long periods and withstanding mentally and physically stressful situations consistently.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associates in Nursing, or graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current certification/license in the State of Missouri.
  • Class B Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days of employment and renewed biannually.

  • One year of general, or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
