About The Position

We are seeking a RN - Emergency for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Requirements

• Associates Degree required.
• Current Nevada RN licensure required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
• CPI due within six (6) months of hire date.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years of recent Emergency Room Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care.
• As a patient advocate, coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s).
• Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response.
• Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May be called upon to act as the charge nurse for their department at the discretion of their Director and/or House supervisor.
• Makes patient care assignments based on patient care needs (as Charge Nurse).
• May be called upon to float to other departments to take patients during high census times.
• All other duties as assigned within the scope of Nursing practices.
