Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing, required.
2+ years working in an Emergency department setting, required.
Valid Registered Nurse license in State of Wisconsin, required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC for Health Care Providers certification, required.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop patient-centered plans of care.
Provide competent and innovative patient care and education based on acuity and nursing judgment.
Document assessments, interventions, implementation, and patient or family response.
Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care as needed.
Delegate, supervise, and evaluate tasks performed by Techs within scope and policy.
Accept accountability, seek feedback, and help resolve issues or conflicts.
Practice in alignment with the Gundersen Health System mission, values, and Nursing Professional Framework.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
Ensure patient safety.
