About The Position

The RN in Emergency Services practices appropriate standards of emergency nursing care and is accountable for managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment. The position promotes positive relationships and teamwork among employees and departments. The RN is accountable for their own clinical practice and for the quality and quantity of nursing care provided to patients by nursing personnel. The role actively supports the hospital’s and department’s mission, vision, and values.

The position works an evening shift from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am at 0.9 FTE. The role is regular employment.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Alabama.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of employment.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• Successful completion of the institutional intermediate EKG course.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
