About The Position

Provides nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and routinely leads a team of care providers. The position is responsible to the Director of Emergency Services and serves patients across the listed age groups, from neonates through geriatrics.

The schedule is days, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, lab work, and review of immunization records. Annual respirator fit testing is required. The posting states that the application must be filled out entirely to be considered for the interview process.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider certifications.
• Obtain and maintain TNCC within 18 months of employment.
• Obtain and maintain PALS or ENPC within 6 months of employment.
• Complete a background check, lab work, and immunization-record review as a condition of employment.
• Complete annual respirator fit testing.
• Meet the physical demands described in the posting, including continual walking, mobility, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying, and communication and sensory abilities; maximum lifting/carrying weight is 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is preferred.
• CEN certification is strongly recommended.
