About The Position

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. This is a full-time position in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Lincoln, working 36 hours per week on the night shift. The Emergency Department is a 26-bed unit serving the community 24/7. The role supports a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 and is supported by patient care techs, paramedics, and patient support associates. Requirements

Current RN license (or compact license)
Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
ACLS certification
BLS certification (or within 30 days)
Unit-specific certifications
Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington
