About The Position

This is a position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in an ED setting, with some pediatric experience. Documented travel experience is also required. The position involves working the 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM shift. Floating to other units may be required. The Emergency Department is equipped with specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. The unit serves a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit has 64 beds, including 2 triage beds, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds. Common patient diagnoses include Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure.

Requirements

• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED.
• Some PEDS experience.
• Documenting travel experience.
• TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty.
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC-TNCC IS REQUIRED TO BE IN HAND.
• NURSYS Report.
• Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission.
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC.

Responsibilities
