About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department, working Day shifts. This role involves monitoring Inpatients and Emergency Room patients in Imaging Services for 70% of the time and assisting with patient flow in the Emergency Department for 30% of the time. The department serves all patient populations, though it is not trauma-designated and does not admit pediatrics or OB/L&D patients. The Emergency Department has 16 beds, a patient ratio of 1:4, and sees over 28,000 visits annually. It is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a leader in sepsis care. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years ED or ICU RN experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Graduate of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• 2 Years of Experience
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Inpatients and Emergency Room patients in Imaging Services

• Administer medications
• Manage vasoactive medication

• Complete patient assessments
