About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Administration Department at our Bucyrus location. This role will be responsible for setting up, performing, and taking down dialysis treatments on a variety of patients. The nurse must be able to travel to all campuses and prioritize dialysis therapies with nephrologists based on patient needs. Responsibilities include accessing dialysis catheters and fistulas for treatments, following established standards of practice, and effectively charging and documenting patient care. The nurse will maintain a role as a patient advocate, focusing on the facility's mission.

Requirements

• Previous dialysis nurse experience
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program
• 1 to 2 years nursing experience in acute care/critical care environment.

Responsibilities
