About The Position
The RN in the CVOR unit is responsible for providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, managing vital signs and operating room procedures, and adhering to sterile techniques. This role involves taking mandatory call and potentially working weekends or holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current Arizona license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Nice To Haves
- CNOR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Participate in cardiovascular operating room procedures including open heart, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgeries.
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with hospital policies in the operating room.
- Administer and monitor patient care before, during, and after surgery.
