About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVICU unit will provide specialized care to patients recovering from open heart, complex thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including the use of advanced support devices such as impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of experience with the patient population in a similar setting.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Manage and care for patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions.
- Titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics.
