The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular care and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. A cardiac cath lab nurse specializes in: Assisting with catheterizations Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures Administering medications Supporting procedural teams
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Active NM or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire
Responsibilities
- Patient assessments and care planning
- Medication administration and moderate sedation
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures
- Patient and family education
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
