About The Position
Endeavor Health is seeking a dedicated RN for the Critical Care Unit (CVICU) to provide nursing care to all patient populations within the department. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assuming responsibility for nursing care outcomes. The RN will also guide unlicensed nursing personnel and contribute to positive safety outcomes and patient experience.
Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred
- Ecmo or Impella pump experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
