About The Position

We are seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) to provide expert care for post-operative cardiac patients. This role offers 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends , competitive pay, and a collaborative environment focused on high-acuity patient care and professional growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of acute care ICU or PCU experience
• Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree
• CCRN certification (must be obtained within 2 years)
• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Provide high-acuity care with continuous monitoring and frequent clinical assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment, supplies, and time.
• Promote quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
