Our Critical Care Unit at St. Anthony Hospital has 16 mixed ICU and PCU private patient rooms. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1-2 years med/surg experience and successful completion of critical care residency program or New graduate with completion of senior practicum in a specialty area i.e.: critical care, ED, PACU and successful completion of critical care residency program.
  • Registered Nurse: WA
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Assoc. - CPR, upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting
  • Previous PCU/ICU experience or Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute Certified Neuroscience RN

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing conditions, implementing care plans, and performing skilled procedures.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient well-being and recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, treatment plans, and managing illnesses.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, keen assessment, and attention to detail, especially in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.
  • Possess a patient-first mindset, showing compassion, empathy, and emotional resilience to advocate for those in your care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient health records and participate in continuous learning and professional development.
