About The Position
Piedmont Macon Medical Center is a 310-bed facility providing compassionate, patient-centered care across a wide range of specialties. This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Stepdown unit, working night shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification - (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) within 180 Days
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
- Functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Maintains standards of practice.
- Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
