About The Position
HonorHealth is seeking a Per Diem RN for their Essential Touch Spa at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves performing cosmetic injections, managing patient care related to these treatments, and maintaining inventory. The position is on-call with varying days and hours. HonorHealth is a large nonprofit healthcare system in Arizona known for its culture of warmth and kindness.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
- 1 year knowledge or previous injectable experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona.
- Certification or Training by credible program, school, or Physician in Cosmetic injections.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Medical Spa, Cosmetic Dermatology or Plastic Surgery industry experience
- National certification for unit’s specific patient population
Responsibilities
- Records patients' medical history and desired cosmetic results to help perform cosmetic injections.
- Plans, administers, monitors, analyzes, and records results for provided treatments.
- Evaluates and documents the needs of the patient/client and creates a treatment plan to achieve desired results.
- Administers treatments of prescription medication injections.
- Provides follow-up consultations to review and discuss results in line with the plan of care.
- Reviews dosages, verifies drug interactions, administers medications, observes the patient, and consults with the Wellness Spa Medical Director for cosmetic injections.
- Ensures patient understanding of post-treatment and home care needs.
- Administers cosmetic injections (Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Kybella, etc.).
- Performs both initial and subsequent follow-up consultations to patients.
- Develops a treatment plan for each client by educating them about treatment options and recommendations.
- Records and documents patient/clients procedure and results in charts.
- Maintains inventory-tracking for all injectable products, and notifies manager of needed supplies.
- Performs data entry for Brilliant distinctions program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
