The RN Coordinator is responsible for medical oversight of both the Supported Living and Residential Habilitation sites, which includes: Supervision of the LPNs, who provide skilled care to the individuals who reside in the homes. Evaluation of LPN Job Performance every 6 months utilizing the DIDD approved performance review form. Review of MARs each month for errors and/or corrections, obtaining new orders as needed form the ordering physician. Maintain MARs on file for a period of three years. Supervise the scheduling of quarterly MAR and medication cabinet checks at each site. Maintain open communication with OGC Health Care Services, outside providers and OGC med certified staff. Participate in pharmacy reviews and oversight of narcotic disposal process. Participate in the nursing on call rotation to ensure medical support is available 24/7. In addition, the RN Coordinator will also have the responsibility for the medical oversight for the Day Services Program. This will include: Evaluation of LPN Job Performance every 6 months utilizing the DIDD approved performance review form. Consulting with LPN Day Services Manager regarding any Medical Oversight needs or questions. Final Review and signature of monthly MAR checks.
