Requirements
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- Valid and current Texas RN license
- Current BCLS through American Heart Association
- 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department
- Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
- CRT experience
- Experience leading a team
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
- ACLS
- 2+ years of ambulatory care
- Supervisory experience
- Windows based computer skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
- As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning
