A registered professional nurse employed by Erlanger Medical Center is responsible for direct and indirect care of the patient. Financial responsibilities include managing productivity through staffing adjustments based on census and acuity, monitoring supply costs, adhering to PAR levels, ensuring timely patient placement, completing Kronos, updating schedules, and monitoring time and attendance. The role also requires effective communication with physicians and service lines, assisting with community outreach, and demonstrating mastery of patient care through assessment, treatment, care planning, patient education, and evidence-based practice, leading by example with good work habits and positive interactions.
