We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Staff Development Nurse/Infection Preventionist to join our leadership team. This key position is responsible for coordinating staff education and training programs while leading our Infection Prevention and Control Program to ensure the highest standards of resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Staff Development Nurse/Infection Preventionist is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational and competency-based training programs for nursing staff and other team members. This leadership role serves as the facility's Infection Preventionist, overseeing infection surveillance, prevention initiatives, outbreak management, staff education, and regulatory compliance. The position partners closely with clinical leadership to promote quality outcomes, survey readiness, resident safety, and evidence-based practices while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience is required for this position. Candidates without skilled nursing or long-term care experience will not be considered.
