About The Position

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) is a Registered Nurse per diem/PRN position with EmVenio. The nurse sets appointments within required visitation windows and completes mobile visits for adult study participants. CMRNs work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation. Visits must be completed on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Blood specimen collection and processing are among the skills required for visits. No research experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Two years of experience starting and performing phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections.
• At least one year of experience collecting vital signs and ECGs, collecting urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain a current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• Be skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records, including medical history documentation and medication charting.
• Have excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Maintain a current TB test.

Nice To Haves

• Last practice of phlebotomy/peripheral blood draws, IVs, and subcutaneous injections within the past six months is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensed driver with a good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements, with a vehicle in good repair.
• Ability to speak other languages.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments within the required visitation window for study participants.
