About The Position

With principal investigator oversight, the RN Clinical Research Oncology prepares, evaluates, and implements research studies to advance clinical practice. The role serves as the primary coordinator and project manager for research studies with low or moderate regulatory, clinical, and operational complexity, while supporting the principal investigator and research team members. Responsibilities include evaluating studies for implementation and operational feasibility, developing budgets, preparing IRB documents, establishing protocol operations such as data collection tools and case report forms, and attending study meetings. The position is based at Corewell Health’s Grand Rapids location and is full-time, with a day schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a health- or science-related field.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan upon hire.
• Shipping and Handling of Specimen Training Certification within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days.

• One year of relevant experience in clinical research and project management.
• RN with both oncology and research experience is the ideal candidate.
