About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the region's busiest and growing outpatient surgical programs while helping shape the future of surgical care delivery. As Clinical Manager of the Outpatient Surgery Center, you'll lead a highly skilled team of nurses and surgical professionals, partner closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and drive operational excellence across a fast-paced procedural environment. The Clinical Manager provides leadership and oversight for the delivery of specialized clinical services throughout the Outpatient Surgery Center. This role is responsible for day-to-day operations, employee performance management, and achieving departmental and organizational goals through strong clinical and operational partnerships. Working collaboratively with the Administrative Director of Anesthesia, Hospital and Outpatient Surgery, this leader supports operational excellence, quality outcomes, staff engagement, and exceptional patient care across a growing outpatient surgical environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
  • 5-7 years of RN experience demonstrating leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and clinical leadership for approximately 80 team members, including Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technologists, Perioperative Technicians, and OR Supply Technicians
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, quality, patient safety, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Director, physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary leaders to achieve strategic goals
  • Support growth initiatives focused on expanding outpatient surgical services and improving patient access
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability and professional growth
  • Drive process improvement efforts focused on quality outcomes, patient experience, and operational excellence
  • Create an environment that promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care
