About The Position

The RN Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical oversight and direction of home care services within the branch. This role partners closely with operational leadership to support compliance, caregiver oversight, care coordination, client satisfaction, and branch performance. The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing team leadership, compliance oversight, operational responsibilities, and occasional field support when needed. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a challenge, takes initiative, and is motivated by the opportunity to help rebuild and strengthen operations while creating a positive and accountable team culture.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or management experience in home care, home health, or a related healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and operational teams
  • Comfortable balancing office responsibilities with occasional field support
  • Someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and energized by helping improve and stabilize operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with compliance oversight, operational improvement, and caregiver supervision preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee direct and indirect client care services provided by clinical staff and caregivers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and quality standards
  • Monitor clinical documentation, care coordination, client services, and caregiver oversight processes
  • Conduct chart audits, clinical reviews, and compliance monitoring activities
  • Support survey readiness and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain clinical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Lead, coach, and support nurses, caregivers, and office staff
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Support caregiver development and accountability initiatives
  • Help stabilize and strengthen team culture within a growing branch environment
  • Conduct staff evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and education
  • Partner with operational leadership to support branch growth, staffing, scheduling, and client satisfaction
  • Assist with identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions
  • Support scheduling, staffing coordination, and coverage needs as needed
  • Occasionally assist with in-home visits, assessments, SOCs, or field support when operationally necessary
