This position follows a hybrid work model. Periodic onsite presence is expected to support meetings, events, and team or operational needs. This role supports the Stroke programs State and National Registries for Corewell Health West, with responsibilities including data abstraction, analysis, reporting, and driving quality improvement initiatives. We are seeking a passionate candidate with preferred experience in clinical abstraction and stroke patient care. Experience in quality improvement and data analysis is also desired, as this role plays a key part in translating data into meaningful insights to improve patient care and outcomes. Job Summary Supports operational improvement projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and helps to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable clinical and business process improvements. Collects and analyzes process and quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Maintains accountability for the integrity and functioning of databases. Will collect, enter and analyze data in a secure and confidential manner within the constructs of the specialty program. Provides support of the program through the monitoring and analyzing of data as well as presentation of finding to key stakeholders.
