About The Position

The RN Clinical Coordinator for the Heart and Vascular service line will develop and manage programs to support quality, efficiency, and national recognition for excellence in Subspecialty Heart and Vascular care. This role serves as a primary point of entry for providers and patients requiring extensive coordination of care, helping patients overcome obstacles to timely diagnosis and treatment. The coordinator will educate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement clinical research related care for participating research subjects and their families. Responsibilities extend from the time of diagnosis through treatment and continuing outpatient care, promoting knowledge of disease processes for patients, families, and care providers. This position enhances the ServiceLine by developing, implementing, and directing the Subspecialty program, services, systems, and resources. It also contributes to information network formation by developing and maintaining linkages internally and with regional hospitals, clinics, and providers, while managing individual workload and expertise. The role promotes the Program by developing and implementing plans in conjunction with the Marketing Department and supports program operations by completing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Current licensure as Registered Nurse with applicable state Board of Nursing or compact state as defined by applicable state Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Five years' Heart and Vascular or Heart and Vascular related experience required.
  • Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Solid oral, written and listening communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
