About The Position

This position focuses on outpatient clinic and peri-operative management, providing comprehensive care for patients with cardiac devices. The ideal candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal device management and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Must have Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) certification.
• BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) certification.
• Familiarity with device types from manufacturers such as Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage devices for patients, including post-operative wound checks.
• Conduct remote monitoring of devices.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists and advanced practice providers during patient consultations.
• Cover planned clinic visits and address any urgent device consults that arise.
• Provide support and education to patients regarding their cardiac devices.
