This is a benefited, full-time position generally working evening weekdays. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. Requirements

ADN or Nursing Diploma
CA RN license
BLS through the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Telemetry experience
Venipuncture skills
One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Must be compassionate and empathetic.
