Requirements

  • One year experience preferred
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
  • Current BLS is required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN Preferred, encouraged to obtain within 3-years of assuming role
  • RNs Certification in Ambulatory Nursing through the AAACN, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Apply your deep understanding of neurological health concepts, principles of ambulatory clinical nursing care specific to neurology, and expert skills in case management and care coordination for complex neurological conditions.
  • Take ownership and accountability for fostering seamless communication and powerful collaboration with our specialized healthcare team, patients, and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to neurological well-being.
  • Leverage cutting-edge best practices to maximize patient engagement and empower them to actively participate in the self-management of their neurological conditions, fostering independence and improved quality of life.
  • Utilize the full scope of the nursing process to promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients with neurological disorders, adhering to the highest patient care standards, evidence-based guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability through relationship-based care, embodying our organizational mission and core values as you provide exceptional, empathetic care to every patient.
