This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at the Mission Valley Clinic. Travel to other sites as needed. Requirements

  • ADN or Nursing Diploma
  • CA RN license
  • American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • RN working experience in Dermatology to include Botox for Hyperhidrosis and PDT application
  • RN Clinic/Outpatient experience
  • Dermatology experience as an LVN or MA
  • Pediatrics experience

Responsibilities

  • Function as the sole RN in the clinic, providing direct patient care, leading a team of LVNs and MAs, and ensuring the seamless coordination of biologic therapies and prior authorizations.
  • In-basket management and triage.
  • This position is about 60%25 administrative (phones, epic messaging, prior authorizations and appeals, etc) and 40%25 direct, face-to-face patient care.
  • Run the nurse clinic as well as work the floor.
  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
