This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at the Mission Valley Clinic. Travel to other sites as needed. Requirements

ADN or Nursing Diploma
CA RN license
American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

BSN
RN working experience in Dermatology to include Botox for Hyperhidrosis and PDT application
RN Clinic/Outpatient experience
Dermatology experience as an LVN or MA
Pediatrics experience

Responsibilities

Function as the sole RN in the clinic, providing direct patient care, leading a team of LVNs and MAs, and ensuring the seamless coordination of biologic therapies and prior authorizations.
In-basket management and triage.
This position is about 60%25 administrative (phones, epic messaging, prior authorizations and appeals, etc) and 40%25 direct, face-to-face patient care.
Run the nurse clinic as well as work the floor.
Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
