About The Position
The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. It requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The position is a day-shift, full-time role working 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Plaza Surgery Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Other certifications and competencies as required based on the service-line skill.
- Adherence to National Patient Safety Goals appropriate to the level of patient contact.
Nice To Haves
- Hospice only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse).
Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patients.
- Develop plans of care.
- Implement appropriate patient-care interventions.
- Evaluate patient-care interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
- May float to other units and participate in on-call status.
