About The Position

Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations through the intraoperative phase of care, as well as the preoperative and postoperative phases. The role involves continuous communication with the surgeon and anesthesia provider regarding the patient's condition and addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care within the surgical environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS)
• Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Must have current Washington license as a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Must have BLS at hire or within 30 days of employment.
• Must have ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.
