RN, Circulating PRN (Frisco Campus)
About The Position
Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This position is located at the Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center and is PRN, as needed, Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm. The role involves demonstrating the ability to quickly assess and problem solve complex situations. The nurse will prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care provided in Neurology, which cares for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, adolescents, with both medical and surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions, as well as, children with developmental disabilities. The position also involves case managing the neurology and rehab medicine patient population and coordinating out-patient clinics. The professional caregiver assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides quality care. The role also assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Hold current Texas RN license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing
- Current CPR certification required
