About The Position

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure clinical objectives and quality patient care are implemented across assigned areas. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts while contributing to performance evaluations, hiring, training, and staff development. Assess daily care needs to distribute population-appropriate patient assignments, evaluating care effectiveness to identify and address issues affecting patient outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints and manage them through established channels.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Previous OR experience needed
