About The Position

Goodwin Living is hiring a full-time RN Charge Nurse for the day shift at its Alexandria, Virginia location. The position is responsible for medication administration, resident assessment, and coordinating care for assigned residents. The nurse documents interventions and resident responses, communicates relevant information to physicians and other Health Team members, oversees Care Partners to support quality care, and develops short- and long-term resident goals and Care Plans. The role requires graduation from an approved RN or LPN program, current licensure in Virginia or the nurse’s compact state of residence, and current CPR certification. The offered pay range is $46.50 to $48 per hour. Requirements

Graduate of an approved RN or LPN program.
Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a compact state of residence.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Administer medication, assess residents, and coordinate care for assigned residents on the household.
Document nursing interventions, resident responses, effectiveness, and complications; communicate information to physicians and other Health Team members.
Provide direct oversight for Care Partners to ensure quality of care.
Develop short- and long-term goals and Care Plans for residents.
