RN Charge Nurse (Weekend ONLY)

Legacy Nursing and RehabilitationBryan, TX
Onsite

About The Position

As the RN (Weekend Only), you provide the essential 8-hour clinical coverage each Saturday and Sunday (9a–5p) that keeps resident care strong, consistent, and survey-ready. This PRN, onsite senior-level role exists to protect continuity of care, support the nursing team, and meet long-term care requirements. The pace stays energizing: you move between resident rooms, the nurses’ station, and quick touchpoints with the team, keeping communication crisp and priorities clear. Throughout the day, you balance hands-on moments with focused charting, making sure updates land cleanly in the record and follow-ups are teed up for the next shift. When a resident’s status changes, you pivot fast—coordinating the right response, notifying the right people, and keeping everyone aligned. By late afternoon, you’ve tightened continuity for the building, supported staff confidence, and handed off an organized, no-surprises report—so the weekend ends as strong as it started.
