About The Position

Goodwin Living is seeking a Full-Time RN Charge Nurse for Day and Evening shifts. This role is responsible for medication administration, resident assessment, and care coordination within their assigned household. The RN Charge Nurse will document nursing interventions, communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members, provide direct oversight for Care Partners, and develop resident care plans. Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state of residence.
• Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for medication administration, assessment, and coordination of care for assigned residents on their household.
• Documents nursing intervention, resident response, effectiveness, complications, etc.; communicates information to physician and other Health Team members.
• Provides direct oversight for Care Partners ensuring quality of care.
• Develops short and long term goals and Care Plans for residents.
