About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Fargo, a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital located in Fargo, ND. This hospital provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, Vibra Hospital of Fargo offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can get to know their patients and their families. The position is full-time on the day shift and includes a $10K bonus.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • Critical care experience.
  • Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • CCRN certification.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care.
  • Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital.
  • Works with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations.
  • Provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.
