Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of hire
  • Registered Nurse; Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum of 1 years clinical nursing experience
  • Work Hours Days or nights with weekend commitment
  • CPR required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP TNCC per unit requirement (If required and not current must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
  • Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior
  • Must be passionate about nursing and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care during their assigned shift.
  • Facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.
  • Continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with other department, clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, engage standards of practice, and hold team members accountable for safe, competency practice, quality care, and continual improvement.
