RN - Charge Nurse- Emergency Department - FT - NIGHT SHIFT
About The Position
Under the Leadership of the Director of Critical Care Services, Supervisor, and/or Charge Nurse, is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, assessing, and providing nursing care according to the mission, philosophy, policy and procedures of Barstow Community Hospital. Important dimensions of this position consists of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a fundamental nursing knowledge. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources. Complete additional assignments as assigned.
