About The Position

Join our 41-bed Inpatient Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant, and Palliative care unit, where compassion meets innovation! As a Charge Nurse/Care Team Leader, you’ll be more than a nurse—you’ll be a front-line leader shaping exceptional patient care and supporting an extraordinary team.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience in an inpatient unit
  • 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years’ experience in an inpatient unit
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
  • Current CPR/BLS certification

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit
  • Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population
  • National certification in relevant specialty

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted leader and resource for your team while caring for patients with complex, inspiring journeys.
  • Provide expert care for acutely ill patients, including those undergoing stem cell transplants, CAR T-cell therapy, and end-of-life care.
  • Partner with management on hiring decisions, patient experience initiatives, and quality improvement projects that drive real change.
  • Gain specialized knowledge through formal education in hematologic malignancies, oncologic emergencies, stem cell transplant, palliative care, and chemotherapy certification.
  • Work with cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and participate in research studies that shape the future of oncology care.
