About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Charge RN to join their team at Eastern Correctional Facility in Westover, Maryland. The Charge RN will supervise nursing and support staff during their assigned shift in a correctional setting, while also providing direct and indirect patient care. This role operates under the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to address patient health needs.
Requirements
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Prior experience providing nursing care and working with a high degree of autonomy required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred.
- Experience working in a correctional environment preferred.
