About The Position

Our McKinney nursing teams serve a fast paced, high volume environment with consistently strong patient census and acuity. This is a 13-week seasonal assignment where you will be a Baylor employee. The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role. Requirements

3 yrs Med Surg/Tele RN experience
A valid Registered Nurse license
BLS/ACLS

Responsibilities

Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.
